CHAPLAINCY

Mission Alabama is a collaborative strategy that brings organizations together to strengthen families and communities.  We do this by building bridges between a community and the community of compassion in order to create effective partnerships that lead to transformation.

The heart of Mission Alabama is “soul-care” for individuals and families.  To this end, Mission Alabama trains Chaplains through our I Care Alabama Initiative. Once trained, our Chaplains have an opportunity to work in a concerted effort with our strategic partnerships such as coalitions of Pastors, Churches, and Ministry leaders together with various Non-Profit Organizations, Corporations, and Government entities.

We also provide Chaplains to serve companies, municipal governments, schools, and first responders. Our Chaplains are certified and skilled workplace caregivers who are trained in providing care in multicultural environments. Through this program, companies have the opportunity to offer various Chaplain assistance and services to aid the immediate needs of their employees on any personal or professional matter.
